back in late january we took a trip to calico ghost town. there are many pics that still remain to be posted.

i've been handed the musical baton by fredrik at smudo.org, so here it is...

total number of music files on my computer: does my ipod count? to this day i have 4713 songs on my ipod. thanks to someone who gave me a library of his songs. plus, a ton of cd's of my own that i haven't added. i don't store songs on my computer because i utilize the space for work and photography.

the last cd i bought was:
moby - hotels, here' s link to his new release

song playing right now: queen - who wants to live forever

five songs that i listen to a lot (and that mean a lot to me): yes, this is a super hard question because it seems that everything that has happened in my life has a song to remember it with. i will dig deep. it's funny that i received this musical request because i was comprising a cd of some of my favorites, but that too, had a theme that i had to go by.

1.
elvis costello's the very best of...cd- beyond belief - there are so many songs that i love by elvis,
it's hard to choose. hes' my all-time favorite artist. all of his songs remind me of my brother glenn.
2. moby
's 18 cd- harbour - it's one of the songs that i listen to on rainy nights , on the way to work sitting in traffic, late night internet surfing, driving up the california coast on a cool day, weekend at car shows in paso robles, saltwater taffy by the water in morro bay and driving up through san francsico and
crossing the bay bridge do drive right on through to my mom's house.
3. u2
's zooropa cd - stay (forever, so close!) - reminds me of old college days hanging out with friends, late night school projects in the dark room, drinking coffee, downtown long beach playing pool.
4. R.E.M.'s new adventures in hi-fi
- e-bow the letter - reminds me of highschool summer nights with my high school friends driving around, goind to house parties and when i met jeff.
5. Anrdrea Bocelli's Romanza-
Con Te Partiro (I'll Go With You) - a good memory.

five people to whom i'm passing the baton: rion, mike, jeff, stijn and dean.
come on people, don't drop the ball and participate!
