this is the town of hackberry. yet another beautiful town along route 66. we made friends with these two donkeys on saturday. the owner said those donkeys had been together probably longer then jeff and i. jeff and i knew there was no possible way. july 10th jeff and i marked our 13 year anniversary of knowing each other. we were sad to leave the donkeys and they were as well. one of the donkeys was so upset with jeff , that it began to hee-ha at him. it was super cute!
