a party in my honor. what else could a girl ask for? it was a great afternoon, thanks to all that attended. i wish i had a little more time to take everyone's picture, but i was the guest of honor and eyes were on me for a change.

he's trying to act bashful, but i know he really wants his photo taken. before the party viet and i ate a huge sushi lunch, then went to dietrich's for dessert and then an hour later we sat down for lunch again and then some more dessert. we pigged out! viet just got back from australia and canada after curating an art show. thanks for the porno pins.

she's my best friend. she coordinated the entire thing and it turned out absolutely perfect. love you hil! can you believe she just had twins a couple months ago? she looks terrific.

6. lisa
my second cousin. had a great time with her catching up. saw her at christmas, but it was too chaotic to have a conversation. she used to call me auntie dawn when i was a kid. it used to trip me out because i couldn't make sense of why my cousin's daughter who his four years older then me would call me aunt. they were just messing with me. she's my second cousin.

favi , heather and i met in photography class in college.
we used to all hang out together in dark room for hours and hours and gossip and talk about random stuff. favi, veronica and raquel are my party crew. we love to explore mexico together and also love dancing at the mayan we went to ensenada last summer and the year before , cancun. we had some great times together. favi and veronica just got back form costa rica. it was a little more jungle then they wanted, but it was still fun. wish i could have gone with you two.

just the sweetest mom a girl could ever ask for. love you! thanks for driving 300 plus miles to see me. you're the best. thank dorothy for coming, too.

9.this pic wasn't taken by me. but, these are some of my oldest and dearest friends from high school who i absolutely adore. can you belive we have all been the best of friends for over 15 years. i love these girls with all my heart. they all threw this fantastic party for me. left to right. me, hilary, amy, erica, jessina, mai and little baby emma.
